Position Marketing Person (Marketing Officer/Executive) ( 2 Positions - 1 for Men & 1 for Women)
Location: Hargeisa
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Manage digital platforms (social media, website, email marketing).
- Create and manage content for online and offline channels.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Monitor and report on performance (ROI, KPIs, etc.).
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Collaborate with sales, design, and product teams.
Qualifications and criteria for a Marketing Person (Marketing Officer/Executive):
1. Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- A Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g. CIM, Digital Marketing Certificates) is a plus.
2. Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or digital marketing roles.
- Experience with social media platforms, content creation, or marketing campaigns.
3. Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of market research techniques and data analysis.
- Digital marketing skills (SEO, email marketing, Google Ads, Meta Ads).
- Creativity and content writing skills.
- Ability to use design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite) is an advantage.
4. Technical Skills:
- Familiar with CRM tools, marketing automation platforms, and social media scheduling tools.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Personal Attributes:
- Goal-oriented and results-driven.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Adaptable to changing market trends.
6. Soft Skills:
- Critical thinking and problem-solving.
- Negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Public speaking and presentation abilities.
- Creativity and innovation in developing campaigns.
- Attention to detail.
7. (Optional but Valuable):
- Bilingual or multilingual (especially if working in diverse markets).
- Knowledge of local market trends (for localized marketing).
- Familiarity with influencer or affiliate marketing.
- Ability to organize events or promotions.
